The Awakening was always my favourite cut on this EP, trip hop before the genre was invented, think Mixmaster Morris was the first person I heard play it

For me this is their best early release, Psychotronic EP gets a lot of attention as it was the first release on Moving Shadow but in my opinion none of the tracks are as good as Trip Virtuality with it's trippy sounds and well placed Klangers sample from the kids TV show.
A very well produced EP with something for everyone and great to play in a set with breakbeat or techno styles.

I think this EP is an unspoken, underrated classic, one of the better ones of 1992 pressed as a white label promo at the early part of that year. Containing a mixture of well structured analogue techno with some organic samples, but also futuristic & electronic. With across the board elements of electronic, melodic techno to ethnic samples and brain massaging subsonic bass-tones and breaks, some pretty hard. Quite difficult to categorise since every track contains more than one style. Dancefloor although cerebal, unique music which doesn't actually sound dated to my ears anyway. If you're into early Rising High Records before it went all trance and don't mind a bit of experimentalism without being up its own rectum. Then don't miss this one if you come across it, good stuff.
