Very deep, dark, scary and freaky sound in that one. I sometimes can't choose who is one step beyond when listening to Alec's and Aphex Twin's ambient releases.
It's true that the tracks sometimes sounds like 40's sci-fi film cuts but these can be heard for only 2-3 seconds. Also it is obviously influenced by Cluster's Sowiesoso album. Very good and original music/album.

Great album, but probably Alec's least accessable work. Really dark musique concrete. Very deep.
One of the first Hard-disc cut up albums ever made in 1996! very 40's/early 50's electronics like in very obscure horror/sci-fi movies. Alec Empire influenced by Schonberg. Heavy and serious material.
Way, waaayy over most peoples' heads
