Reviews
- This is basically a piano / dream / paradise house, speeded-up version of Bebu Silvetti's masterpiece "Spring Rain", in the manner of such other - more or less derivative - 1989-1990 deep house classics as The Countach's "Aqua Marina" (from Santana's "Aqua Marine"), Sueño Latino's "E2-E4"-inspired eponymous hit, Z 99's "Welcome To Paradise", E.V.O.E.'s "Este Amor", and so on, quite cheekily borrowing from Coldcut's "People Hold On" on the melodic side, as well. Nice try, but kinda flimsy and affected. What about believing that "unreleased-gem-from-1989" thing? No can do.
- Reminds me of a stripped down, lounge version of 'Scott Grooves' - 'New Day'.
Gotta love that jackin piano!

https://www.discogs.com/Scott-Grooves-A-New-Day/master/73624- Could have been part of Young Marco’s ace Italo dream house comps.....it’s definitely new because it sounds too slick. Ableton not Akai. Not bad though, but there’s better, way back where it claims to be from.
- Many cool kids seem to like it, Palms Trax dropped this in a warehouse last week. If I am 20 I'd think this track is kinda new agey, sort of old vibes, but also drippin sex, and flamboyant and moody. If this track was really released in 1989, it will now be 38 years old. This is exactly why this is the house music version of MILFs, or mothers i'd like to fuck.
- Edited 7 years agoI first heard this years ago on a mix, maybe by Balearic Mike. I remember posting about it on the DJHistory forum and someone saying it was unreleased. For some reason I got it into my head that [redacted] was behind it. Anyway, nice to finally have it on wax.
- A great track, though I don't think it's a found gem of a 'long lost track from a short-lived group'.
Think it's just a new track. Great marketing strategy. Am I the only one? - available at pacific beach vinyl. s w a g g https://www.pbvinyl.com/products/azura-paraiso-89
