referencing We Like Moroder (12") C#48
This is an essential release in the catalogue of the highly influential Clone label, for all the lovers and supporters of electro disco a-la-Moroder (of course)..........it is actually inspired by the track "Cosmos Trip" by Electronic System (Dan Lacksman - the man behind it - would have later been a member of the band Telex....remind "Moscow Disco" and "Victime de la societe"?), and is featured in their killer 1977 LP "Disco Machine". The original Belgian release on the Tanga label is highly in demand nowadays, as it's a timeless bomb, but it has been luckily reissued on a limited edition LP on Musique Belgique Archive, and on CD as well. "We like Moroder" is a release representing perfectly the more contemporary rendition of the classic electro-disco sound, projecting it into the future for many years to come.
