Have a listen to if - space invaders are smoking grass (zombie nation remix) and tell me if that remix didn't inspire this track?

DJ Mellow-D aka Mellow Trax made a remix that was turned down by ZN. As he's basically the only owner of the only ever played copy, it is very rare but might be caught recorded from his DJ-gigs or radio gigs of '99/'00. It was at least one time fully played (unmixed) during his appearance on the RPR Eins MaxiMal radio show.

Quick question for those who have it: Is this one 45 RPM?

It makes me impressive to see this relsease have only 4 comments. Its a classic,im not into commercial trance,to be real, but even when i didnt knew about the electronic music world this impressed me. Then, when i listened accidentally to this trax again i got surprised. this is only matched by few tracks of its time.

Based on the Commodore 64 SID tune "Lazy Jones" (Subtune 21) by David Whitaker. A SIDStation supplies the main synth line.

the melody of this track is from the old c64-game "lazy jones" :o)

This track represents everything great about dance culture. It also represents everything dreadful about it.
It polarises opinion in everyone who hears it. The resolutely underground Dave Clarke loved it, dropping it when he and Richie Hawtin played back to back. Hawtin, unamused, unceremoniously took it off the deck without mixing it...
I've heard Judge Jules play it time and time again, including cutting the sound at Homelands and letting the crowd sing it, then after the infamous Top of the Pops appearance, he slagged it off in the press and said he didn't like its "yobbish, singalong factor".
Did get really irritating after about three months tho.
