I’m not sure I would describe Skinthieves as relaxing but it’s an excellent example of Jeff Beck’s brilliant guitar work and the album also contains one of Christie Hynde’s best vocal performances as well.
Surprisingly a relatively unknown record considering the cast but a great one all the same.
For those wondering only record One had a picture sleeve. Record Two came in a generic White sleeve.

This is the most relaxing album ever. Mood food for tired minds. Music musicians and writers all top shelf here.
This one deserves another pressing on heavyweight vinyl this time thanks as of 2023 no new pressing.

I'm surprised this album isn't more talked about. It has some beautiful, timeless ambient tunes on it, my favourites being Spiritual High (3 mixes A1, A2, A3) and Problem Solved (C3).
I was told Johnny Marr was involved in this but the Moodswings bio on Discogs says Grant Showbiz which could be The Smiths link that someone was thinking of.
Does anyone know if the vinyl releases were individually numbered? Mine is number 000025, on a sticker on the rear.
