they should rerelase this one on vinyl including the tracks that were only on CD, much like they rerelased NWAQ - The Dead Bears.- Edited 5 years ago

Any recommendations for music similar to this album? Some of the tracks here remind me of Gas, The Sight Below, Ulf Lohmann, and Dettinger. It's becoming an obsession for me! referencing Strike (CD, Album) 27 DSR/NWA-CD1

My favorite techno LP. It was so ahead of it's time when first released and it still is. Timeless music. Lush, deep and warm atmospheres combined with Basic Channel inspired drum programming makes for a very immersive listening experience. There isn't a single track that overshadows the rest, nor there is a track that would be called a filler. Every single piece offers something different for the listener, while at the same time keeping the consistency within the record. This is a true techno classic, a masterpiece that's essential to everyone who even remotely associates himself with this genre in one way or another.- Edited 17 years ago

This is extraordinary. Utterly amazing album. "Sun" is one of the most hauntingly beautiful pieces of techno ever created. Perfect. "Abrighterday" is almost equally fantastic: intense, timeless and still feels ancient. "Apricot" is a beautiful ambient soundscape that lulls you to sleep. "Strike" is very solemn, the drums are pulsating within a deep ambient soundscape.
The spooky, moody tracks "Sniper" and "Themurderpeople" feels misplaced on this album. They are both good but still does not match the supreme quality of the other tracks and does not conform to the mood of the album in my opinion. Still, this album is unparalleled. Even if you are only remotely inmterested in dubby techno and ambient, this is a must-have.

Delsin just keep 'em coming!
154 (alias Ross 154, Newworldaquarium et al)has conjured some real deep somnolent numbers here.
The opening track 'Sun' has you picturing what it must be like opening your eyes on a sharp sunny wintry morning somewhere for the first time & all those initial thoughts running through your mind, almost like birth.
One of my favourite tracks.
Another is 'Apricot'. This one has me remembering the first time hearing AFX Twin & ambient music & how special that was. That initial excitement about finding something for 'inner peace' while the world goes crazy!
To be honest, I could write about all of these with such passion & colour which they truly paint (in my mind). This is a mesmerizing album of which I have found my sleeping patterns tuned into many times.
Trivia: This album has been in the making for about 11 years too.
"Keep me sleeping 154!".
