Definitely LoW bass Frequency my copy has original Cover and #3 below SUGARHILL GANG..The #3 is not shown on Discogs thoreferencing Rapper's Delight (12", 45 RPM) SHL 101
This is the first 12" that I bought, at the age of 10, and I've it's still prime place in my vinyl collection. A classic Hip Hop release that is widely known by all generations.- This version is the very first pressing. Red label allegedly limited to 3000 copies. Plays well, bass is punchy on my little edified speakers

maybe the best version of this maxi we had the pleasure to listenreferencing Rapper's Delight (12", 33 ⅓ RPM) SH-542
I have changed the enter and outer sleeves. Side A has some scratches.- Somewhere I have the rare red-label 12" and 7" pressings of "Rapper's Delight" I got via Big State Distribution in Dallas in 1979. It was a big club hit, even in most gay bars that normally played no black or R&B music. That is a testament how universal this song became where everyone played this into the ground back in the day, yet got little radio play in most pop stations in the US. Not bad for a 12" that has sold over 3-1/2 million copies so far. Such an amazing part of history for such an unusual record that charted so well worldwide: Canada, Netherlands, & Spain #1; Belgium, France, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland #2; South Africa, West Germany, US Soul/R&B and UK #3; Austria #5; Ireland #14, New Zealand #18, US Hot 100 #36; Australia #37.
- Good pressing. This recording sounds very clean and tight. Audio quality is excellent. The loop of Chic's Good Times is lacking the highs but considering this was recording analog before the advent of digital drum pads, loops and digital recording software. So for what it is, this record is still very inventive and what a classic and historic recording to have in your record collection.

What a talented bunch!!! Still the only rap record I've ever liked (and Blondie's Rapture).
