After many years of searching, the elusive drum loop has finally been located on the Unreleased Mix of "I Get Lifted", which also just got a Digital Release. Superb spot from markomen
Also, whilst another user has suggested the bassline was "influenced" by Mozart, it is very clearly taken from Soft Cell - Tainted Love. referencing Ripgroove (CD, Single) 74321 48513 2
This song is the daddy of all Speed Garage/Bassline tracks!referencing Ripgroove (12", 33 ⅓ RPM) 74321 52932 1
Great tracks, but watch out. I've had my copy since new and there are pressing faults (lots of little bumps) on side B which cause loud pops and skips. Side A plays fine - which is prob the side your after. But it's a shame as side B is great too. May not be all copies.referencing Ripgroove (12", 33 ⅓ RPM) LUS 063
Instantly recognizable bassline, this was one of the biggest tracks in its day and still kills when that drop goes!referencing Ripgroove (12", 33 ⅓ RPM, Sony/CBS) 74321 529321
happy to be deep is clearly borrowing heavily from another house record (italian) from (1993) https://www.discogs.com/Workin-Happily-Better-Things/release/193311 which was one of the first anthems in what would soon become the UK Garage Housey 4/4 style dominating from 95 through to 98 and beyond- Edited 2 years ago

When I left London to move up north - Speed Garage was completely dominating the place and this was the biggest of them all followed by 'Gunman' and 'It's A London Thing' amongst others - even now (20 years (!) later) it sort of defines the whole scene. referencing R.I.P. Rare vocal mix of "up with you" makes this well worth gettingreferencing Ripgroove (Version) (12", 45 RPM) D99
is this version the same as the original vocal mix?referencing Ripgroove (CD, Single, Reissue) 74321 529322
Along with 187 Lockdown's "Gun Man", one of the seminal Speed Garage anthems. Tim Deluxe and Omar Adimora took drums from Kenny "Dope" Gonzales (listen to The Underground Mix of "I Get Lifted"), a synth sample from Armand Van Helden's CJ Bolland Remix, and the classic Tina Moore vocal loop, and added a warpy rough bassline that would set the scene for many, many imitations.
