Maybe the other reviewer got an especially bad copy or maybe I got lucky, but I did not find this to be "unlistenable" at all.
To be clear: it's definitely not the best-sounding vinyl I own (not even the best Luke Bryan vinyl) and some songs are better than others in terms of compression and sibilance (C4 is probably the worst?), but the better-sounding songs (which is most of them) sound fine to me. Not the most dynamic pressing, not a great sound stage, but I don't regret buying it. On average, it's acceptable.referencing What Makes You Country (2×LP, Album) B0027589-01
The version I have (B0027589-01) is unlistenable, a catastrophically bad pressing, full of dust and dirt from new. A highly compressed sound with awful sibilance throughout. Buy the CD (and I don't often say that...)
