Impressive collection from Jazzmann. When is this going to be reissued on vinyl?
My copy is, sadly, full of static and cracks. Unpleasant listen at times... such a shame because it really is a beautiful comp.

my fave compilation 2018 so far. Good sound, CD version is fine with me, Vinyl a bit overpriced imo.

Amazing album, but no surprise there. I was curious to see what the Japanese take on spiritual jazz would entail, and this compilation covers quite a wide array of what exactly that means. Ranging from more traditional takes infused with Japanese touches to wilder extended workouts, I'm enamored. The sound is great, and overall a well-presented package with extensive bilingual notes and gorgeous design. I'd imagine the vinyls are stunning, but this came out to 1/3 of the cost...
There's also a 2×cd that includes both part 1 & part 2 ,with extensive liner notes in Japanese & English.
