Way too much music on each side (approx. 30 minutes per side....ridiculous); overall level is affected (have to turn it up), but bass is also rolled off too

I have the blue/yellow pressing. Sound quality is great, highs are dynamic with decent lows. LP is flat. I’d recommend.

Records look nice and play great. I wouldn't suspect that they aren't official. Inner sleeves have nice printed artwork. Front cover looks stretched and blurry, back cover looks fine.

The fact that this version seems to be trending higher in price than recent (albeit limited) reissues boggles the mind. The most recent sale at time of writing is $85.. I got this at a record store for $30. It's worth $30, it definitely is not worth $85.

Wow! Just ordered from Japan. Outstanding pressing and sound quality. Blows you away. The whole packaging it top notch. Highly recommend.

My God... it sounds way better than the original CD! I don't know how did Japanese do that... never heard of any official Coverdale's or Page's remaster. It kicks major a** and if you don't have it, do not hesitate! Great reissue!

Superb pressing and THE definite pressing on LP for this release to buy. I own the original which is too compressed and lacks basically everything this pressing has. Flat, dead quiet playback with a fair amount of dynamics with little or none distortion to speak of. Soundstage pops out of my Transrotor/Mcintosh/B&W 800D series system like I've never heard before. Recommended.

Nice flat records. Sounds pretty good - decent soundstage. I did notice that disc 2 seems to have slightly more pops and crackle than the first disc. Dont leave me this way has excessive sibilance and distortion during the vocal breaks which is a bit of a bummer.

Superb SQ. No surface noise at All. These japanese pressings keep on surpricing me. Comparet to the original press this has more dynamic and sounds more ballanced.

There is no information on the source of the material for this pressing. However, it sounds dead quiet and flat. I don't have any previous pressing to compare, but considering it is a 2LP version, I'm assuming (and hoping) this sounds better than the 1LP version for a 61-minute record. The bass could sound better, but I'm happy with this 2023 pressing. That's my two cents! Maybe one day Coverdale and Page will release a box set with a remastered version plus the unreleased songs and live material from that period.

How is the sound on this one? I guess this is not the remastered version that Coverdale has spoken about?!
