As with a number of recent non "Tone Poet" Blue Note releases on Lp, the vinyl is quite noisy and a thorough cleaning was necessary to play adequately...even so more surface noise and clicks are evident than there should be. The mastering is a bit better than the digital but not top tier. I hope this give this one another go with a future re-issue.
The music is excellent recommended regardless of format.
Something very Mingus about this music. Very playful and energetic. Certainly two of the best modern guitar players with a vicious rhythm section. Very enjoyable soundstage from the CD. Recommended!
