I can't comment on the vinyl pressing quality of this one, but as far as the aluminum sleeve - I own an original - it looks like they did a better job on this reissue. Kinda wish I had this one instead :-)

Yes this is still available over there on the bandcamp for skin graft... The price is a bit on the high side...three figures... However... one to leave to the grandkids... Perhaps they can use it as a radiation shield as they stagger through the post-apocalyptic wasteland...

They just repressed a whole bunch of these. Mine just came in the mail. Don't think there's any difference and may not warrant a new listing. Just a heads up! Pretty cool stuff, though! Definitely an album that takes an absurd amount of listens to really enjoy. Might be the best example of a modern day Trout Mask Replica. By modern I mean the 90s. Nothing has even come close to sounding like this since!

I didn’t get it, until one day I did: this one’s just hardcore played ‘wrong’. Clean guitars and spoken/squealed vocals rather than distortion and shouting, but otherwise these could be SSD songs. Fucking brilliant!

Listening to it now through a set up of Luxman, NAD, BSR, Thorens, Bose and it sounds pretty good to my ears... fairly deep and dynamic.
