- I remember finding this in a small record shop in Oslo sealed for $40 in the summer of 2021. The prices this goes for now is insane.
- Edited 2 years agoMaybe it's because it's a fairly spare score, with a lot of space and quiet acoustic passages — and therefore easier for my mid-range system to handle — but this pressing just sounds especially exquisite. It's definitely silent; not a crackle or a pop.
- This pressing is insane - incredible production dead quiet. I'm thrilled with this purchase, even though I probably paid more than I should have.
- Edited 4 years agoMy copy has the words „NEVER CURSED“ imprinted on the dead wax, in reference to a scene from the film where Daniel Day Lewis‘ character says that he puts little messages in the dresses he makes. I wonder, is it the same „message“ on every copy? What does yours say?
- Lots of noise—even after cleaning—despite its ostensibly flawless appearance. Will return it and try again.
- Edited 5 years agoA fitting treatment for a great score. Awesome packaging and a beautiful, quiet pressing. Very dynamic.
- Anyone know if they used the same stamps for this as the stardard version, specifically of side B? The grooves on the standard so so unnecessarily set together and leave so much unused space. Wouldnt bother with this one unless I know the grooves are set wider.
