Parkway Drive – Reverence

Would love to add this to my collection, but this picture of some dude in his lounge is off putting! Can you please take a better picture of the album?

First of all, I was so excited to listen this record on the vinyl, grab it from my local store asap and I was Sooo disappointed because it came to with some noticible scratches and scuffs, so both sides have really noticible clicks. Yeah, its metalcore, so on most tracks u shouldn't hear it, but in moment of silence its just so annoying. I'm really disappointed, not recommend this edition. But maybe you'll have more luck then me.
P.S. Record is masterpiece!

Dec18. OK, despite these guys growing up loving the same bands as me, I have never been able to get into them. I have tried. This album actually got repeated runs from me. Not my thing - still hate most of the vocals, but several tracks are good and some riffs cool.
Aug19. 'Prey' is a pretty decent track. I also noticed a few more subtleties this time through - there is more variety in the songs on here than I first gave it credit for. Several changes of pace. 'The Void' has a very cool riff and vocals aren't bad either. 'Shadow Boxing' is interesting and 'The Colour of Leaving' is a haunting finish. Upped the score. 3.5/5

I have LP RES162. Inside is transparent brown vinyl with dark smoke. And I cant fint it there. How is it possible?
It was bought on Collapse The World Tour 2019.

Can anybody vouch that this variant even exists? I know they tweeted something about it, and it being a tour variant. However, I myself, and anybody else I've heard of buying a copy of Reverence at a show, all got the dark grey w/ black and white marble... I'm curious if they maybe sold out of the clear, and then pressed some of the dark greys to bring on tour afterwards, or did they never end up pressing the clear w/black smoke? I only question this, because I've never seen one or heard of anybody actually owning it.

How to tell what record you've got, concerning colour, if you have a sealed copy? Is there any way to tell conclusively?

I agree, it's not really a blob and looks pretty boring to be honest. Also soundwise there is no need to own it on vinyl in my opinion. They didn't bother making a proper vinyl mix. Just did the AB comparison with Spotify.
