Nirvana – Nevermind

Is this AAA? Does anyone know for sure? Or was this cut using digital?

Well, after comparing this vs BG, orignal -91, 30th... , I would rank them in this order: 1. Pallas, 2. Original from -91, 3. 30th, 4. Takt. I am not sure about the 30th vs Takt, probably need to listen a bit more and record this stuff and listen with headphones! Either way, Takt is very dirty and filled with light scratches. Even tried contacting Takt (.pl office), no repsone at all (omg..) WHO mastered it or even cut it. WHO KNOWS,... :( Now I have like 5 copies, get the Pallas pressing if you want the best.. or stick with the original from -91 (which is actually very close to BG Pallas).

Probably a rip from the CD version (with Endless Nameless as a hidden track) but sounds good, considering. Side A is mixed way louder than side B, but as far as bootlegs go, can't complain.

Listen, I am NOT for gouging people and ridiculous collector prices, BUT... What the F is up with the last few NM sales for $70...?!!! I mean, c'mon guys... That is nice is someone were actually able to get this super rare album for that in NM condition, good for them! But seriously, it just destroys the TRUE Median 'Value', something that I don't really care for the way they do it anyway. I mean, just look back a few months for Goodness sake. A 'G' copy sold for $350, and the one just before that I think was over $700, I didn't look at the condition. So, yeah, I'm all for reissues so people can have good sounding copies, but how about the VERY few of us poor [email protected] who just happen to have one or two like this, WHY the F'n total destruction of the Median 'Value' with such an out of the ordinary price for this album?

I bought this version (sans endless) and later got the MFSL with endless. Much prefer without. The hidden track was crap. I guess it might be better than "gallons" though.

Vinyl came pretty scratched from factory, and I'm not the only one complaining about it here. It sounds ok, but nothing truly special. Made in Poland. Cover art and material are ok. I definitely paid more than this was worth. (38$)

The original album is the cut mastering by Bernie Grundman (check the deadwax)? It's well known to be the best sounding Nevermind (check the reviews on this for more info https://www.discogs.com/release/12885936-Nirvana-Nevermind)

Retail was around $125-130.....but you may have missed that boat.

Either way it's killer, a must have for any Nirvana fan; pressings on each record are quality; sleeves and book are sweet too.

Beats out the original CD by a bit. It sounds a tiny bit less muddy and crisper. Definitely the best this album has sounded digitally, but it feels like much more could be done still.
