The title is less definitive than it should be since this appears to be the complete James Cotton on Vanguard, compiling the 5 tracks recorded for Chicago/The Blues/Today! (volume 2) in 1966, his lone Vanguard album Cut You Loose (recorded in 1968), plus a previously unreleased track that is not definitively identified but seems to be an outtake from Cut You Loose.

All are 20 bit remastered, with the bass that was rolled off the original vinyl release restored.
