Dead quiet pressing but the music itself is loud, realistic and very engaging. Sounds like a band playing real instruments in your listening room. Vocals are great too. Highly recommended. Would suggest to have a copy of this and the mainstream mix.

Is anyone aware of the postion of “Kurt Cobain” printed on the lower centre of the label varies from one copy to another?
I saw some copies online with the centric ring cutting through “K” whereas the picture here has the “K” just beneath the ring.

This is a rare example that sometimes a cd sounds better than the vinyl. Of these 30th anniversary boxes I prefer the cd version soundwise. I just wish they’d put the extra tracks from cds 1 and 5 into disc number 6. One extra cd wouldn’t have added a shit to the production costs. Also a blu ray of live show would have been nice at this price.

The box looks good and the materials used are good quality. I usually prefer vinyl, but with this 30th anniversary box set I have to admit that the cd box sounds better. Don’t get me wrong - this vinyl box is still good, I’m not complaining. However, the best sounding version is the 20th anniversary 2-lp 45 rpm USA pressing.
