I am highly entertained. I just realized the album cover is the classic "Visible Man" built-it-yourself model kit. In this case, one missing the organs. I happen to have one right next to me as I type this ;)

This pressing is much lighter on the front, & much darker on the back.
- You can definitely see this along the left side of the front of the cover going down.
- The top right of the cover has a much smaller dark spot.
- The pink/purple color on the visible man is muted.
- The backside with the drummer is much darker.
- The paper is exactly like the cover with the subscription card, not thick cardstock like the 4th press foldovers.

Very Cool!

Golden / Golden is the version of this vinyl press that seems softer in color.

This Version was created years ago without pictures and little information to distinguish it other than "blue swirl translucent". For example, no mention if it said Erika, no mention is the sleeve was foldover or sealed.

I think one of my copies is this one. It is blue translucent with different swirled colors. Definitely distinct of the Aqua, and the one that came with the splattered Bleach. All the disk pictures attached here are from mine. It says Rika on label and on the sealed sleeve.

Do people agree that I correctly attached to this version? I am a bit surprised that so many people said they had this version. No mention that I can find on John Pette's site or Nirvana discography.com/sliver.it. Wondering if some of those folks have one of the other blues.

I'm not 100% convinced my copy is a 1st press and looking for help. My copy fits all the descriptions except mine is more of a translucent blue.. not a swirl, and it includes a phone call with Chris after Sliver before the runout. Thoughts?

Hi, I bought a copy of Sliver straight from Sub Pop 2008/2009. My single does not have a barcode on back or anywhere else. Black label, SP-73-A, SP-73-B, stamped "Golden." Any idea? It looks like https://www.discogs.com/Nirvana-Sliver/release/1195704, except different matrix numbers and of course it's newer than 1994. Any help? Thanks!

Anyone else's copy come unplayably warped? Newbury said they'd be sending me a replacement, hope that one isn't as badly warped as this one, especially considering it was a $12 ($18 with shipping) 7"

*as of April 9, several days before its available, there are approx 150 or so of the various releases of this available for purchase on discogs. at least 25 are available for under $10, and several under $5, but go ahead and buy these for over $50 (to $75) from one of the sellers here... who incidentally simply have this pre-ordered from Newbury Comics...but that's beside the point.

I guess this just NEEDED to be repressed on LIMITED SPECIAL EXCLUSIVE ULTRA RARE COLORED VINYL. Great use of resources, and for your money.

Keep the vinyl game growing! Or at least the pressing machines clogged with represses of readily available material...

I think it's an attempt to church-up this particular copy. Nothing special about it.

It comes from the first press after blue and pink.
They're pretty common, and sell for around $20-25
