- I was torn on whether to buy this or an original pressing. The problem with originals is that they are usually plagued by ring wear and seam splitting. This pressing plays cleanly and quietly and the peach vinyl is beautiful. Not sure on the source as it doesn’t say, but it sounds great.
- Said to have been the second-lowest selling album in Columbia's history at the time, second only to a yoga instructional record
- early 70's U.S. release of wild-eyed,zonk-fried 'n Kross-tied (ACID)-ROCK meat to chew...well, 'eat' may sound too civilized(...) and to digest it might be as big a challenge as a trout mask replica ...uncrews doors from their jambs!... a debris of speed-charged lead-axe smoulders slantin' down canyons on rhythm-swellin' boulders... vast jams out to where strange insects feastin' on the remnant bones of space-deportee-ancestors!... waves of Beefheartian tool-gruff 'n shocks of 'invented Mothers' khool-ruff attempting to break any docks scruffs...well, just try to imagine this stuff would be discovered today as some lost Van-Vliet tapes ...the sensation would be THERE and folks would gladly harvest the grapes!
.....free-form Rock patterns defined via strokes of adventurous submersion, myth-spun & abandoned as a stonefish in a stadium of dispersion!... a lone ranger in the gallery of Rock history's most original & most Neglected artefacts! well, a 100% failure for label's sales at the time of release (even in Halo-Phax) ...but... GOOD NEWS for you out there who want to lay hands on an ORIGINAL Vinyl-Form (which in general seems to be still in demand..I heard)...yesss, they're still floatin' around and to be grabbed at a reasonable fee...but NOT from the writer's vault 'cause this cup-o-tea is too HOT and to give it away for a stuffed flea appears to me like some sort of insault!
P.S. there's a Tank pictured on the back-cover...which is (I presume) NOT mentioned for 'Aggression'-sake but may serve as a hint to your own 'Think-Tank' (if ya' can take)
P.P.S.: call me bozo ... but this (in my opinion) has to be counted among the most authentic contributions to the 20th century Rock Circus! - They were on the bill with Allman Brothers and others for the second night of "Turkey Trip" at Duke Tire Co. in Atlanta on November 23, 1969.
- For something that was supposedly the “worst selling” album on Columbia, and presumably rare, there are sure a lot of copies for sale. They hyped up the reissue pretty fierce. Glad I did some research first, as I usually don’t preview albums before I buy. The reason it isn’t actually “rare” and expensive is that most people couldn’t sit through the whole thing

Might there be copies with matrices ending in -1A?
