Almost bought an OG for many bucks, found this one for half that and do not regret. An absolutely incredible sounding pressing!!!!

The sound quality of all of the instruments on this pressing is stunning, especially the piano, which really does sound like a piano being played, as do the other instruments, just that it’s quite unusual to find a recording to sound so authentic. This is true audiophile bliss, and Andrew Hill at his very best.referencing Compulsion (LP, Album, Mono) BLP 4217
It's mostly criminal if constantly accessible proper audiophile reissue of this Hill's masterpiece is postponed.
This should be reissued on Blue Note Classic Vinyl Series or Blue Note Tone Poet Series.

This pressing sounds great 👍 Now I know who the engineer is on the late 60s liberty pressing are ! most are RVG but sometimes there no name and I could never figure out who wast the house engineer for liberty when they bought bluenote in the late 60s
