Oh wow! What an awesome release, this is cane at their very finest. just 2 tracks on offer here but the quality far far out weighs the quantity. Both tracks offering up an underlying acid style, the A side is more in the 'in your face' dancefloor brilliance style with crushing squelchy glitched up ecstatic beats, building and building to a fantastic acid/techno cresendo. Side B starts of slower but is a real 'builder'. Starting with off-kilter beats and industrial style noises that slowly become more 'together' then give way to an almost trance style synth to bring the track to the edge of a high before releasing the killer bass and beat. Truly brilliant stuff from the Funken brothers. Cane seems like a real outlet for them, somewhere they can have some real honest fun whilst showing of their creative brilliance. Highly recommended!
