The charley Casanova track on this is unbelievably good — it’s worth a pickup just for it.

Don't mind Reeno, some wonderful classic NYC house here. D side for me

Double Exposure Ten Percent (Kenlou Mix) is the highlight on this album. This track got rinsed on the NYC radio stations. Most notably The Panic System show out of Fordham University, NYC. Huge tune! The other notable is the Charley Cassanova remix of Instant Funk "I Got My Mind Made Up". It's some serious underground 1992 UK 'Ardkore buisness complete with sick riffs and breakbeats, its certainly not house. The Todd Terry remix of Candido "Jingo" is ok but its far from Todd's best. The rest of the album is pretty darn meh. I only pull it out for the first two mentioned. The other nice thing about this CD is the cover art. As a massive fan of discolights I'm really blown away by the array of strange scanners shown on this cover. I have no idea what these makes are, I'm assuming they're Italian brands like Coemar and Clay Paky. I have no idea where this photo was taken but it's awesome!

This album should NEVER have been made. The 90's saw a lot of these housified/modernized reworkings of 70's & 80's classics.

I am SO GLAD that trend is long and gone now.

Just keep it as FUNKY as it was meant to be...
