This OG vinyl press sounds excellent, an exceptionally crushing slab of thrash/death throughout!

This album needs no fucking introduction just a brutal yet melodic death thrash assault on the ears and that means more to me than just being brutal for the sake of being brutal if there's no hooks and Melodies then what's the sense and this band realized that from the start 5/5 this is one of few bands with a flawless discography

A top 10 death/thrash album of all time and being just a catchy as it is brutal takes alot of skill and the next release the heritage is just as great

Sound is much quiter and sligtly worse than original. The frequencies are slick, the drive is lost :( But for the money is great.
Look for the original only if this release is your favourite, it powerful sound worth it!

An amazing reissue of one of the classic and objectively the most brutal album in the Protector collection!

Thе album is absolutely ruthless to the listener, armor-piercing shells made of Thrash & Death alloy fall down with carpet bombing and leave no chance of salvation. "A Shedding Of Skin" is made of attack, aggression and pressure. The degree of tension increases from track to track, no fillers and compromises.This album is really cool composed and recorded, in the spirit of that time. It is possible that in some ways he is a little underestimated, especially against the background of other masterpieces of 1991, when many cult albums for the genre were released. However, this is the most honest and irreconcilable underground.

High Roller has done a great job as a label - the edition is beautifully designed, it is a rare case when the cover of a reissue of an old album has a normal resolution and contrast, a nice bonus is a huge poster, not counting several inserts of different formats. Visually, vinyl in the color scheme makes a great impression, although the declared "Blue Electric/Black Marbled" looks more like "Gray Smoke". In general, the details were worked out one way or another.

The vinyl sound is fine. Mastering for vinyl is more than successful - the recording turned out to be dynamic, balanced, with a fairly high volume level. On the first side, the recording lasts 22 minutes, on the second - 19 minutes, but the playback quality is at a height. There's nothing to find fault with! Definitely, this is a worthy addition to the collection.

Thick and very clear sounding pressing. All the extras that come along with the High Roller releases make this more than a highly exceptional package . I cannot recommend this particular pressing enough, truly a banger!

Wow! This record is so incredible! It has become one of my all time favorite Death Metal records! Is Protector pretty much a thrash band? Of course! But on this album they completely went nearly full blast Death Metal. Easily their best work and a brilliant reissue! Only complaint is that there is quite a bit of surface noise.

Sounds awesome! These HRR represses sound great and have cool extras inside each LP. So satisfied!
