Love this album and its a great pressing. Shame it's not a gatefold sleeve but a small complaint. Jerry and the boys just keep on rolling!

May21. Over two years after this was out, so let's see what I think. In that time I have added the title track, 'The One You Know' and 'Never fade' to my 2018 H100 lists.
I remember thinking that the album lacked variety and I did not like as much as previous albums. But it also took time for me to love 'The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here' too. I also remember wishing they would return to putting a few of their faster, shorter songs on albums: everythign here is four-and-a-half minutes or longer.
'The One You Know' is a solid opener, but the riffs of 'Ranier Fog' really got my attention. There is some great sounds on this one. I like the vocals too. I have grown to like 'Fly' over time, but alongside the other songs here, it blends in.
'Drone' does exactly that and goes for too long and the next couple of tracks seem to merge with it. 'Maybe' sounds a little like 'Fly' and stands out a little with it's slower tempo. 'So Far Under' has a good riff, as does 'Never Fade', but the latter also has a very good chorus. Not sure the long 'All I Am' was needed at the end.
Too much of this album has a similar tone and speed. This really needs some shorter belters like 'Dam That River', 'Them Bones' or even 'Would?' It all just blends together, which some might see as a strength, but this is not the only sound I like from this band. 3/5

Unfortunately, some tracks have clipping issues. Other than that - great album and package.

For anyone curious, I thought my copy sounded fantastic. Quiet/free of unwanted noise, and very smooth/"analog" sounding to my ears - it had a "the band is playing in your living room" kind of vibe to me. This was with relatively modest equipment, FWIW.

If you're an AiC fan, grab a copy of this if you haven't already. Great pressing, great album.

Sound is great. Clear with very black background. Every song hits hard!
