Nice pressing overall. A little light on the bottom end - definitely not mastered for the modern taste for heavy base, which is too often overdone. Al’s vocals come through beautifully on this record. Paper sleeves should be banned. They left light scuffs on this otherwise clean vinyl. A nice record for the price.

Got this one secondhand and was unaware it was the translucent red Walmart exclusive until I went to play it. Nice punchy sound, clean, crisp, and clear.

That aside, the music is wonderfully balanced, clear, and a joy to listen to. Effortlessly soulful, meticulously played, and truly timeless.

Pressing is also totally QUIET! Shhhhh... just listen to that groooove.

Well pissed off with this, I bought it blind because like the original I just assumed it had “How can you mend a broken heart” on it, it doesn’t.......... that’s one of his top 5 tracks for me.......... gutted

US pressed, EU released. Inner sleeve is as crap as they get. Sounds the same as other reissues of the last good few years. Would be great to have a lovingly packaged AAA version because the music is awesome and warrants it!

Clean and quiet just like I like it. A little dirty from the paper sleeve. Sound is excellent.
