The “Deep Dub Vocal” is one of the stand out tracks on DJ Spuns “If You Turn On” mix cd, which came out in 1993 amongst what was, at the time, only mixtapes. This mix cd, which was way ahead of its time, changed the life musically for me and a whole group of friends at that time period. Get your hands on a copy of that mix cd...

The K of K&M (Ken) taught me drums at school. He gave me a copy of Funk & Drive when they cut it and I remember him talking about it being on Buzz charts. Not long after that he stopped teaching drums at my school.
He was a cool teacher, I remember him getting me and a mate to do a cover of Young MC's "I got Rhymes".
The next drum teacher was a square and I gave it up. Props to Ken though cos this tune still rumps.
