Sun Ra And His Astro Infinity Arkestra* – Atlantis

The sound on this is as expected, probably the same as the cd as its a Scorpio, that being said it sounds pretty good, lo fi and warm sound, Sun Ra recorded a lot of rehearsals for release so the sound quality varies quite a bit on his releases the record is flat and silent , nice press , it may even sound better than an original press, dead wax has “BQS” Better Quality Sound… now the music… side 2 is a moog, elec piano, keyboard freakout like no other , side one is a more mellow percussion fest which is also unique and cool, one of my favorite Ra records

Waiting for the eventual reissue from the authorised people, it will contain the complete 45-minute version of Atlantis and hopefully improved sound quality.

The sound quality of this.. It's like all of the sound was flattened, squeezed, and pushed through the plumbing in my bathtub drain and a microphone 60 yards away pointed at my dead, buried cat in the back yard picked up the vibrations.

Is it mono or stereo? On LP's sticker is mono, but in description (format: Vinyl, LP, Album, Reissue, Remastered, Stereo) is stereo. I am confused.
