Both are great tunes - but Desideradi wins hands down. I love the way it's layered and builds up, and up, and up...
Desideradi is, for my money, at the top of the "Most Gorgeous Song Ever Recorded" folder. Both sides are incredible.- No sticker on my copy and came in plain white (paper) sleeve.
Edited 4 years agoAll killer, no filler is all you really need to know. For my money, some of the best ambient Drum and Bass out there from the golden age when great records were weekly occurrences. Was lucky to pick a promo of this up for cheap. But I would happily pay the prices it goes for now.
These 2 tunes are what defines Atmospheric Jungle imo. The pads, the drums, the bass its all so smooth and nice!

Edited 6 years agoArtemis elysian fields and Desideradiis are beautiful drum and bass tracks that are full of soul and take you on a amazing musical journey. TOP RELEASE :)- Yes sir. Agree with whiteawakening that Desideradi is the one for the perfect pads - although Elysian Fields itself is pretty fantastic. Old codger alert: are such beautiful tracks released these days in DnB or dance music more generally?
