The music is wonderful of course, but the pressing is not very good for another one reissue
for a small company. My copy is 265/500. You open a sealed record and it sounds like it's been
played 30 times at least. Αlong with the music, the dust was also printed...4 stars! referencing Vocal Patterns (LP, Album, Limited Edition, Numbered, Reissue, White & Violet Swirl) DW/LP 3182
Such a stunning reissue. The colors blend beautifully on the record, so fitting for the music. The pressing is nice and clean. Get it from HHV while you still can.- Edited 2 years ago

Just bought the Ltd colour vinyl from Juno so it’s still available there. No need to pay shark prices!
Also as mentioned previously this is a stereo version, having had an original mono copy and sold it on some years ago, this is a much better and nicer mix.
Just one criticism though, my copy was filthy from the pressing plant and had to be properly cleaned as my stylus picked up tons of fluff and crap on first play through. not good so a heads up. After cleaning it was perfect, flat, clean and a lovely pressing.
now if they could do the same with 'Moonshade' I'd be in heaven...... referencing Vocal Patterns (LP, Album, Reissue) DW/LP 3182
My copy sounds fantastic and thankfully this pressing is centered unlike the previously reissued Patchwork (7) - Mean & Dirty. Bought new and sealed and the record itself looked a bit dirty and scuffed but cleaned up nicely. It’s a well recorded album and this pressing does the music justice.
This is the music I hear in my head every time I get in a screaming match with my child. Try humming “Play Girl” or “Flipper” when your 3-year-old refuses to brush his teeth, it really works especially when combined with heavy sedatives.
I only play this record when I’m home alone because some of it is pretty cheesy and overly jaunty but it’s all awesome. Faves: Moon Bird, Dazzle, Autumn Aria. Let’s hope we’ll get more De Wolfe Webb reissues in the future (Moonshade and/or Free As Air, please?).- Edited 2 years ago

As I guess here will be the same situation as e.g. at Hard Hitter reissues, so you can distinguish the different presses without opening and/or before buying it with the help of the stamp or the lack of that on the back cover - the white vinyl ones will have there something under the Music De Wolfe logo (like 192/500 on the pic at this release), while the black vinyl ones will have that area blank/plain white under the logo. referencing Vocal Patterns (LP, Album, Limited Edition, Numbered, Reissue, White & Violet Swirl) DW/LP 3182
My copy is pressed on to black vinyl not coloured vinyl.- Edited 3 years ago

This entry erroneously indicates that this reissue is in mono (and indeed the back cover, which is simply a reproduction of the original, states the same) but in fact this reissue is in glorious STEREO. Music De Wolfe must have dug up a never before issued stereo mix to use (brilliant move), and it is absolutely amazing sounding. This is the type of music that, in my opinion, is properly heard in stereo--in which all the instruments and voices can breathe and image across a nice wide and vivid soundstage. So it appears that this is the first time the world has been given the opportunity to hear this amazing music in stereo, since apparently the original issues were only in mono--mix up a gin martini, put this platter on the turntable and celebrate baby! 5 stars***** referencing Vocal Patterns (LP, Album, Limited Edition, Numbered, Reissue, White & Violet Swirl) DW/LP 3182
Amazing reissue! It sounds incredibly clear and well mastered. Very pleased with the color too!referencing Vocal Patterns (LP, Album, Mono) DW/LP 3182
Another one I regret selling. Must be due for a repress?
Some enterprising label out there could do this justice surely...
