Good pressing needs cleaning though because came in a paper inner but overall punchy and fairly dynamic id say a 7 out of 10. The first track is distortion but i think that's just the music and the way it was originally intended to sound. Its not a mind blowing pressing by any means but it does sound good and is worth owning for sure

Execlent release. Sounds great, I was just comparing it to the original and I think they did a good job with it. If I was super picky, it definitely needs to be cleaned well the cutting left some remains hanging off the edge. The front cover doesn't have the coppery shine the og does, and it doesn't have the "based on a true story" line. But sound wise it's great. The bass is there, the kick drum might be louder on the og but my brain might be hearing things. Lp was heavy and flat. Good stuff.

This album will always have a place for me. I bought it when it came out. Went to see them in Manchester around 1990 and got tinnitus as a result. My ears rang for 4 days solid before settling down. But, I forgive. Because this is just pure, brilliant, industrial fun. Peppered with tongue in references to other recordings such as Olivia Neutron Bomb's 'Let's Get Physical' and The Beach Boys 'I Get Around' it's a move on from the more electro based BSL, but really improves on it with more recognisable structures. The sampling limitations of the Fairlight are sited as an issue on BSL and it showed. This took that electronic blueprint and just made it so much better. The main factor being the standout contribution of Paul Barkers driving, minimally repetitive bass-lines which give them such a dancy edge. You really want to move. The bass lines just hook you right in and at no point do they outstay their welcome. Connolly's strained and distorted vocals definitely help to give it more interest. This is with out doubt the best RevCo album and certainly gives plenty of the Ministry albums a run for their money. I don't listen to any other RevCo albums as as they just aren't as good and more particularly the ones that followed. Fave track is Stainless Steel Provider and Can't Sit Still. This may have slipped under the radar, but for those in the know, they know it's a stonking great record.

Was listening to this and thinking "well, at least Cleopatra got this re-issue right", then noticed they got the Heads and Tails sides of the record backwards. Oh, Cleopatra.... smh

I've never understood why this record is off the radar to so many. I'm pretty sure this is the most interesting document to come from the Wax Trax industrial complex. Dark. Funky. Funny. Stainless Steel Providers. Can't Sit Still. Something Wonderful. The 2nd side of this record is as good as anything from that period. The Cleopatra clear vinyl edition gets a lot of play over here.

If you only want or have one LP from Revco. This is it. "I am a killing machine." "Don't freeze to death" The pinnacle of Wax Trax! records. Before Al went mad lol

This is the perfect industrial dance album. It's not too fast but not too slow. Hard electronic rhythms and hard guitars make this one of the best LPs WaxTrax! ever released. "Stainless Steel Providers", "Let's Get Physical", and "Can't Sit Still" typify the late eighties WaxTrax! sound for me. This pic disc version only adds to the novelty, class, and total entertainment experience for this album. Also of note, "Get Down" on the LP version is much shorter, more effective and just better than the much, much longer CD version of it, and omits the unnecessarily repetitive and long (although interesting) version of "(Let's Get) Physical" entitled "(Let's Talk) Physical". Very important album this one.
