Oh man who can we write to so that they can press this on vinyl? The Prince estate? Not on Spotify either. This is probably the most underrated and ignored release ever.

Taste is subjective. I actually find many things to admire about this project. While not a commercial success, C2MH contains a number of excellent compositions that are worthy additions to the legacy of both Chaka and Prince’s catalogs. Tracks such as Come to My House, Reconsider, I remember You, This Crazy Life of mine, and The Drama are masterful collaborations and really fuse together what is great about these two artists. When it was announced that Chaka and Prince ( the Artist) were going to work together on a full length project, people may have been expecting a Purple Rain/I’m Every Woman type of mash up and may have been disappointed by the outcome. You have here a work of two great artists in their maturity, creating something a little more intimate and low on bombast. This is an adult record, the performances are assured and the production is well done and holds up well decades later. To this day, I continue to go back to listen to this project as a whole. I continue to enjoy it and say it is worth a listen.

As most of Prince's output during this period, this album comes off as dull, forgettable, uninspired, & mostly boring.
