How Much I Love You features an incredibly catchy theme, played by the guitar, which extends in 3-bar phrases over a 12-bar refrain. The shortened phrases and high song tempo (~126 BPM) give the song jump, because the next part of the melody is always coming sooner than you think. The hard snare back beat adds a further counterpoint to the active melodic line with a relentless Ba-Dap! on the 4. The strings take over between the refrains.
