The Plastic Avengers return for some more disco-infused house beats on SPACE GRAFFITI. And starting from "Stereo," they aim to get you moving. "If You Wanna Be" has more than a little hint of funk in it, while "The Strutt" is more straightforward in its approach. The samples come back hard and heavy in "El Bombata" and "The Blend," but the perky melody that works its way through "Practicing Switchcraft" is wholly the Plastic Avengers' concoction. "Unkle Tomz" goes more tribal with the percussion, and the excellent "Moondrops" gets slightly deeper with a more measured, jazz-inflected melody, though still with plenty of funk in its bass. "Full Circle" takes the album out on a mellower note, but by now, you should have been fully tagged with space graffiti.
