Sigrid (9) – Sucker Punch

Recorded and mixed at multiple studios, mastered at the venerable Sterling and Abbey Road studios, a cast of 100's ... and what does Qobuz serve up? 16-Bit / 44.1 kHz ... I should have bought a used CD in the bargain bin for $3.

Maybe it's not totally the fault of Qobuz - they simple sell what they are given. But surely the great & mighty Qobuz should have some clout (and pride).

For the last 30+ years, 99.9% of albums have been mastered with at least 24-Bit / 96-kHz resolution, and sometimes 32-Bit / 192-kHz.
Then most get downgraded and sold at 16-Bit / 44.1 kHz (standard Redbook CD quality) for reasons that I can't fathom.

I know without a doubt that this could have been released at 24-Bit / 96-kHz (minimum). Those hi-res files are in a vault somewhere, but we can't purchase them (yet).

Downloaded albums should offer us a special experience and something more than you can get with a $3 CD.
Sorry for preaching to the choir....

My copy came with a lot of dust on it but sounds great after cleaning, no noticeable noise.

If anyone wants to sell this record for under $60 (US), or under $100 (USD) for the signed version, hit me up.

Was worried about the quality given that it's a picture disc, but my copy sounds flawless.

Amazing album. One of my favs. The yellow bag inside is so pretty and the flowers in side A and B too.

Great album, however, it seems this pressing may be a bit noisy.

Great music, great looking disc, bad pressing sound quality wise.

Picture Vinyl Sucker Punch have so much better quality of Sound.. hmm :/

My copy is really noisy. Lots of surface noise and clicks. Kinda bummed about it.
