Everclear – Sparkle And Fade

Such a great album. This vinyl pressing is typical of the 1990s, which isn't a good thing, but it's still awesome to hear the music this way.

Not sure why this is getting any bad reviews! I'm super picky when it comes to my records, and I saw nothing wrong with this. I was worried, but it punched me in the face from song one. It's gritty, and punchy, the separation is really great and Arts voice is nice and present. It sounds miles better than my CD copy from way back. I'd recommend this to anyone who knew this album growing up. It will not disappoint. At least it didn't for me.

My pressing is good. It isn't perfect, but it is really, really good. 8/10. A stray pop/click here or there. A little bit of noise at the very end of both album sides - nitpicky stuff. I recommend this.

Sounds great but spelled sparkle wrong on the sticker on both sides.

You can hear the bits and bytes on the highs, especially cymbals. Love this album, just not this mastering.

I actually wasn't able to listen to this on cd, sound was muffled and brickwalled. When I finally bought the first press I listened to this album for the first time, don't regret a single penny.

This is awaiting a re-press from IR. Have some patience and wait it out.
