Killing Joke – Killing Joke

Having had trouble with split color records in the past, I'll add to the choir here and tell you that this is a brilliant pressing. Dead quiet inbetween songs, sharp, detailed, and loud. If you don't have a copy and you see a decent price on this one, don't hesitate.

This record sounds so good. I don't have much more to say outside of what folks below me have said. If you like this album, you need the OG.

This is a killer press. On the steep side for a single LP but definitely worth it! Managed to snag mine for 38 dollars at Shuga Records.

It seems obvious that this is a repress of the original. I don't think the band would have burned a large number of copies for their first album. The question is: should a new discog entry be created? In my opinion yes, because it could mislead future buyers. This record (mint and sealed) cost me less than CAD50$ in stores, while the original would have cost (with a NM condition cost over $100).

I think it is the loudest record in my collection. But at the same time it is one of the most dynamic and clean sounding ones. It is crazy what is possible in the studio, mastering and pressing plant.

What a debut album from this amazing band that started preaching about 1984 quickly approaching and NEVER stopped! And this pressing kicks butt and puts it right in your face and forces it down your throat! Sounds even better than it looks and it looks very cool! Very punchy and clear!

Excellent pressing. Sound quality is top notch. My copy isn’t super flat. It’s got a slight ripple when playing but it can’t be heard and the sound quality more than makes up for it.
