Came here to drop some justice into this pressing, my copy sounds excellent! It’s not perfect and it’s quite understandable since all the sources come from all over the place, there is some noise but it’s very Light and in a 40%+ volume it’s always completely drown. No skips and no pops or crackle, and at times it can sound almost flawless. I highly recommend to go for this one over any of the Tri color editions (which I have tested myself).

This seems to be not able to be listened to in full online anymore, and all ways to buy it are sold out. keep this one in your collection...

The surface noise is there and it is horrible. Especially A/B sides. Stay away from the pink vinyl version.

a LOT of surface noise. Not acceptable for such an expensive compilation.

First of all, this is a very beautiful picture disc (mine is the B/P "splatter") and on the light it has a very nice color. Unfortunetly, even my version hasn't plop or crisps, the quality of sound is not top at all. It's not dramatic, and of course it's not what I searching when I bought this, and each discs aren't the same, but it's like there's a "veil" over the sound, like the songs have a bit too much "bass". I had to turn the sound up every time to get something worthwhile. I ask myself if they used the masters or just some digital tracks..
Apart from that, the choices for this compilation are pretty good and it's so nice to be able to listen some songs that aren't available or unaffordable on vinyl. (I talk about you miss Ohnuki)

Beautiful edition (see pictures) but sound is low and average with quite a lot of crackling noises for a new record. Very disappointing, especially considering the high price.

One more question about this release: does it come with any extras (inserts, stickers, posters) like the other versions? Thanks!
