Abbath (2) – Outstrider

Well the album is good... is it as good as Immortal or the first album? imo no. However it is still a good album, just appreciate it for what it is and don't expect anything of epic proportions and you'll be happy. This album is his first real solo album because the first self titled one was according to Horgh & Demonaz supposed to be the next immortal album between all shall fall & northern chaos gods. Abbath took the songs with him when he left immortal and just rewrote the lyrics with another dude instead of demonaz's words. This album sounds like a whole new band which it is with abbath singing on it. This is a whole new lineup from the first album's musicians and it is not an immortal record. All of that being said... if you like the album then this is a decent pressing of it on plain black vinyl with decent quality sound for sure & it comes on a gatefold with the song titles listed on the inside of the gatefold and printed on the vinyl center labels. I like the art concept on the cover it's pretty killer. It does not come with the bathory bonus cover "pace til death" the text on the gatefold is in chrome stamped raised foil which is nice. The vinyl also comes housed in a paper doublesided sleeve with all the lyrics and album credits. Abbath has gotten sober since he recoded this album and has expressed interest in patching things up with immortal. It remains to be seen if he will return to them and the next album will be with them or his next solo studio album i imagine we will find out come 2021 or thereabouts, no matter what happens i love all the artists and music so i will be happy as long as music is still being released. cheers and Enjoy the newest album like i do.... or not. cheers fellow Blizzard Beasts of Blashyrk \m/

anyone else out there think the audio quality on this cassette sucks ass? I bought 2 copies and both of them sounded terrible.

First song is “Calm In Ire (Of Hurricane)”
Any way to make this change across all versions instead of one at a time?
