- Unbelievable album. So good. Equinox absolutely smashes it on this double LP, some absolutely blinding tracks. It's amazing how he made all of these from his Amiga, a true Don. If your a fan of the Bizzy B 93 style flavour and like your amens hard and dark this is a must for any collector. Thank you 8205 for making this happen. One happy camper!
- The mastering on this pressing is absolutely superb considering the lofi nature of these tunes, the bass is extremely weighty and clear, and the drums are snappy. The tunes are of course excellent; 1993 was a year of great experimentation before jungle developed more of a formula, and the music here certainly reflects that. What is more advanced with these tunes when compared to others from 93-94 is how crazy the drum programming is; really advanced edits and patterns that bring a lot of energy. If you like your amens chopped to bits, and low frequency dub bass lines, you just can't go wrong here, but don't overlook the 'darkside' twisted up stabs/pads either, especially if you like the audio artefacts that the Amiga/Octamed is famed for!
