- True with all the comments below "Radio Edits" is a big NO !
Also i'm more than fed up with the revivals from records since it's way overpriced to be a so called premium item since it's not to begin with .
So boring to have fake limited editions which were never limited . Enough with making 10" records i never understood the making in those surely in the electronic genre . Also the over and over tranceparent and other coloured records which were always from lesser quality besides the standard "black" one .
Paying above 50€ for even the full lenght version is stealing .
Anyway if you want cheap radio edits best buy a cheap CD compilation such as those early Serious Beats and other alike .
Also remastering such tracks are pointless you can't even enjoy how it was back then . But yeah social media has somehow ruined it . - First release (1994) was Cherry Moon Trax / Space Module - Trax I, Bonzai Records – BR 94054
- Why are people paying money for two radio edits? I'd rather get the original 1994 vinyls than a worthless reissue like this one.
Second, the seller listing their copy for 1,500 Euros is either trolling or greedy as fuck. - Sure, there's been a vinyl resurgence starting in the late 2010s.
Sure, people decide whether or not to buy.
Sure, it's a cute, flashy thing.
But.. that a radio edits-only release starts to be sold at 20 EUR, and subsequently found at +50 EUR, (outliers +100 EUR for radio edits!) illustrates some things.
Tracks like these were made long, because that used to be the point of that music.
The build-up, the anticipation, the climax.
Radio-edits are an ideal reflection of the era of Instagram, Tiktok and Facebook.
Everything must be short and flashy.
Things with a longer content, are discarded.
Everything must be in-your-face and to-the-point.
In the end, is this still about music, or about collecting items in order to not "stay behind the others"???
I've seen the hipster-ization of techno, I'm sorry to be a bore, but I do have some doubts.
