These are still available on the MONDO website. Don't pay these scumbag flippers a dime before you go and check if they still have some in stock. Y'all pricing this at $80 already should be ashamed of yourselves. Seriously, why do you people have to do this with most if not ALL mondo pressings?

My records are clear with a light, slightly yellow, smoky tinge - equally appropriate for the subject matter, and I prefer it to the solid yellow-looking 'bugpowder yellow' pictured here or on the Mondo site (the obi text on this copy claims '180g yellow marble'). Wonder if this is a variation, or just a difference between mock-up/test press and production run? Colour queries aside, this is a beautiful package - stunning film-inspired illustrations on the gatefold, fascinating liner notes from Coleman and immaculate pressing.

There have been numerous excellent attempts to create Burroughsian soundscapes, by, with and without him. Very few come close to this "harmolodic" score. Maybe it is even the peak in Ornette Coleman's recording life.
