Jeffrey Lewis & The Voltage – Bad Wiring

I know this a lo-fi record but it doesn't excuse this appallingly noisy pressing. Ironic really when it has a great song on it about the joys of collecting LPs.

Album of 2020. Almost breaks my heart to see all the extras you get with it, like intricately-drawn inserts and stickers, when who the hell in a 10 miles radius from where I'm sitting knows who Jeffrey Lewis is? "LPs" is sadly spot on, it is now the time to buy CDs if you want that incredible value of old, that sadly is not so apparent from my vinyl collection because I've given away/sold so much/some got destroyed at parties. F-ing doh. At least I have a working CD player from 1988 but am as yet still a little shy about buying CDs in 2021.

The problem with the die-cut outer and corresponding inner sleeve is for the artwork to line up, the inner sleeve has to be open side out.

Heh, maybe the people already overcharging for this should listen to the song LPs on this album, especially the last part.
Also, the fact that there's a different band name for each Jeffrey Lewis album is a bit of an inside joke. It's always the same band so making a new artist page on discogs for each release makes things very confusing and difficult to navigate, you should just unite all of these under "Jeffrey Lewis".
