Crystal clear sound and beautiful sound stage. I love this one!
Both records play very quiet and the live sound is very good. There are times when the instruments and/or vocals can sound slightly set-back, but this is a Live album remember. I think on “Time” vocalists Chris Thompson or Gary Howard created a new vocal frequency, wow! Album cover and record sleeves are out of this world top notch quality.
The records are now in new poly sleeves after cleaning the debris they had on them from the thick sleeves they come in. Everything comes nicely housed in the usual MOV plastic outer resealable sleeve.
4.5/5.0 for sound quality of this Live album.- Edited 2 years agoA better recording than the other 3 triple live lps which Alan has released recently. Cut at 45 RPM I'm sure has alot to do with it although the musicians at times still feel a little distant. Comes with a classy leather bound style cover. I would have preferred a 33 1/3 version with the 3 studio bonus tracks which came on the CD but that's just me.

Wow, that's a fantastic pressing. An audiophile sound as a live album. Dynamic, open, rocking, everything you could want. Absolutely and highly recommended. Rarely heard such a great live recording. Some studio albums don't sound as good as this disc. The presentation of the cover, with its high-gloss inner sleeves and imitation leather as a gatefold is also fantastic. Great.
