The Gods (2) – Genesis

Tengo en mi colección privada un ejemplar en glorioso mono, en excelentes condiciones, en la contraportada posee estampado un sello que reza BBC library copy como asimismo un corte en la portada en el ángulo inferior izquierdo que se hacía para identificar los lps. de la emisora, probablemente para no ser retirados de la mismo con fines comerciales.
Con respecto a su música su denso sonido revelaba lo que estaba por venir. Sin lugar a dudas una excelente obra.

This vinyl reissue isn't terrible. Sounds very good, obviously digitally sourced (probably from CD) but not awful. Sleeve is a bit flimsy though.

Sound is astounding! Loud, full, and punchy mono mix! In a laminated flipback cover too! No skips or issues on mine. Grab this one while it’s cheap great psych.

My copy has skips all over it. Only a few tracks will play fully.

Lousy pressing. Noisy (even after cleaning), blurry sound quality, and skips on both sides. This one's priced low for a reason!

Not a super essential 60's British psych rock lp. It has it's moments and never feels that dull. That being said there are no real high points. At times the vocals remind me of the American group The Turtles which is always a good thing and which ultimately save the record from becoming a yawn.

I have Sort of wanted to hear this for a Long time after collecting many Psych Gems over the years sort of put off there first as had To Samuel My Son in the collection and sold off, a while back having not being impressed. I Have to say my Review of the first Work would be a lot different for me this is a little Gem, Contains many melodies well put together songs and light hearted British Quirkily-ness that I find very appealing from this era, Worth while record from my view and much better musically for me than the second record with a Fresh feel.
