Reviews
- Heads up DOTD fans....... There's a 2nd CD of unreleased score music inside the recent 4Blu-ray/3CD set.
- This to me is the official ost as I prefered these tracks in the movie. Cos I'm a man always puts a smile on my face, maybe because it reminds me of people gunning down Zombies for fun in the movie ha ha. But for me, the best track on here is 'S Park- Sun High.' The atmosphere in that track is haunting. Great OST and I'm really thankful It saw the light of day <3

Bravo on this one Jonny & Joel. While Goblin take the credits for the specially composed sections of the score (& a blinder it is too), the real trick with 'Dawn Of The Dead' is it's parallel satire of the stupidity & brain dead, insular greed of the human consumer. This philosophy was cleverly enhanced by the additional sound effects & musical choices accompanying Goblin's contribution.
H Chappel's 'The Gonk' gave a circus like comedy to the grisly decomposition of the human race, as our characters navigate the shopping mall & try to survive a flesh peeling kicking from the hilariously well dressed dead shoppers trapped within. Without 'The Gonk' & additional library music (mainly from the De Wolf catalogue) compiled brilliantly here; DOTD may have only been a very good zombie flick, rather than the subsequent masterpiece that it is.
