Grabbed this for £12.99 in the Bleep sale. Really cool looking pressing, and sounds absolutely excellent. You won't be let down by copping this if you like the album. Shame it's not in a gatefold sleeve, but that's just a small gripe.

Very special record in my opinion! Where "Providence" had great big broad strokes and raw emotional tunes that felt like they could have been recorded in one live take, this album feels like it has been obsessed over and tweaked to an extreme with very exciting results, while retaining the previous album's surgical sound design. Really a masterclass in effects automation that takes me back to my own salad days of stimulant-fueled, days-long Ableton binges pushing tunes into wild places

The sounds here incorporate a lot of my absolute favorite elements of English electronica of recent years-- the sharply edited arpeggios of Clark's "Death Peak" (who also contributes to 2 tracks here), the constantly cascading filters and reverb of Caribou, the hypnotic tones of Luke Abbott's "Holkham Drones," the ecstatic house pulse of Four Tet. Great tunes for dancing or just chilling and vibing...all on an immaculately mastered and pressed double LP. I am going to be listening to this over and over, highly recommended :)

Nathan does it again:) a lovely album of stompers & ambient pieces. really looking forward to playing this outdoors and up loud with friends, stomping about to it! (long live raving post-isolation!)

at times with a similar vibe to his Hard Islands LP (which is another fav for playing loud). except this time he’s also taken us into some really twisted spaces.

keep on keeping on, Nathan Fake! absolute champion:)
