Just another perfect city pop compilation. All three of the Pacific Breeze records are essential listening.
Impossible not to rock out to this album while I paint. Happy throwback synth vibes all the way through. Bass and guitars sound like smooth caramel. Love this pressing.

The best! Such great music. Volume 1 was great and this is just as good. Can’t wait to receive Volume 3.
Like Volume 1, the tracks are perfectly curated. It's a great introductory to City Pop if you don't know where to start, and I appreciate that they put 70s songs on one side, and 80s songs on the other.
Disc 1 is slightly warped, no issue though. Disc 2 is basically flawless. A tad bit of crackling on Side B, but no other defects otherwise.
The mastering is great and the packaging is as good as Volume 1. Highly recommend!

Volume 1 on tape sounds marvelous, however my vol 2 sounds muddy, no soundstage for the first half of the cassette on both sides, anyone experienced the same?
I started spinning mine today. It's basically a hoot. Takes me back to being a kid when discovering music was a world of wonder. This is 'happy music' through & through.- My copy is clean, flat, and sounds great. Awesome compilation.

I remember being unlucky with Pacific Breeze 1... my copy had some ripping sounds across the first disc. I was afraid of being the same thing with this record, but luckily my copy is mostly clean
