Love this album. As. Collector of Nujazz I am always looking to be impressed by different sounds from Jazzanova to A forest mighty black to Eddie meets Yannah to Backini to Hefner and more. And this immediately impressed me as a truly original production. as that initial best comes in you feel the surprise of the composition and crave more. A dream for the ears accustomed to jazzy business, and full of little surprises. Bravo- it’s a masterpiece I believe. referencing Skalpel (2×12", 33 ⅓ RPM, Album, Stereo) ZEN 87
can someone add more information of this original release.. I am not sure did I get the original or repress from the shop.. don't see any zen 87 02 markings anywhere on it. Is there any barcode no. on the spine in the original??referencing Skalpel (2×12", 33 ⅓ RPM, Album, Stereo) ZEN 87
Brilliant work! One of Ninjas bests!
Truly heavenly. If one didnt know that all material for this was sampled I think one wouldnt recognize, because its done so well and with a lot of variation. Every track made with care and respect to the sampled records. You can hear that this guys love jazz music. Just as I do.
"You may expect quiet a lot of noise. - Probably! They will go to buy some polish records!"
6 of 5 points! I hope they will come up with a third album after 'Konfusion' (which was great, too).
Thank you very much for this guys and thanks to Vadim for connecting them to Ninja!- Edited 17 years ago

A wonderful debut album from the Polish outfit Skalpel. True to their Polish jazz roots Skalpel deliver a melodic, dreamy electro-jazz masterpiece. If you like Cinematic Orchestra you will feel this.
